Lost Soul in a New Home |

As
a new Senior at Mounds View High, coming from only a few short miles
away in Woodbury I had no Idea of what to expect. In 1988 I walked into
Mounds View as a Theater Geek, Choir Boy and Smoker. Who would "want" to
talk to me. Then the tryouts for the fall play, "Shannon's Grave", happened.
I walked into the Theater and the Director saw me and said "you
have to be my Jack" Little did I realize at the time that this
would mean carrying around a 150 pound guy on my back for 2 1/2 hours.
I didn't think I would survive. But the applause we received opening
night when we first came on stage was the best I felt all year. Thanks
Mounds View. P.S. It paid off I am now "one of the few, the proud the INSANE" The Minnesota Royal Guard at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival every fall. I thought carrying Dinzie Conlee around for a couple of hours was tough. Ha, try wearing blanket weight wool for 12 hours during 100 degree Days. I LOVE IT. |
